Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund Expands Stakes in Entergy and Ameren

The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund increased its equity positions in two U.S. utility companies during the first quarter, as disclosed in recent SEC Form 13F filings.

For Entergy Corporation, the fund bought an additional 27,868 shares, bringing its total holding to 180,358 shares valued at about $20.3 million. For Ameren Corporation, the fund added 69,341 shares, raising its stake to 121,137 shares worth roughly $13.3 million.

Both holdings are part of the fund’s broader utility exposure, with the added shares representing modest percentages of each company’s outstanding stock.
