Illwerke Vkw ends fixed photovoltaic feed-in tariffs
Illwerke Vkw has announced the expiration of fixed photovoltaic (PV) feed-in tariffs. Owners of PV systems must either sign a new contract or switch providers, as old contracts will be terminated starting in mid-October. A transition period is available until December 31. Those switching to a new contract will receive a fixed rate of seven cents per kilowatt-hour for 2027, after which the tariff will be adjusted monthly starting in 2028.
Additionally, the provider noted that the price guarantee for the ‘Erdgas Fix’ tariff expires on September 30. Customers must actively order the new fixed price of 9.49 cents per kilowatt-hour to maintain price security for the winter; otherwise, the contract will automatically transition to a flexible tariff with monthly price adjustments. The company is also offering support for installing wallboxes, heat pumps, and battery storage systems through various promotional actions available until the end of the year.
