ILS Main Event 2026 focuses on digital logistics in Graz

The Independent Logistics Society (ILS) held its Main Event 2026 at the Helmut-List-Halle in Graz, Austria. Under the theme ‘Digital Confirmation,’ the event brought together more than 500 industry professionals and over 60 international speakers to discuss the future of logistics, artificial intelligence, and mobility.

Key discussions centered on how digital tools and AI can be integrated into core business processes rather than being treated as mere novelties. The event featured various leadership personalities from sectors including telecommunications, manufacturing, research, and politics. Notable presentations included insights from Jörg Konwalinka of Microsoft Austria regarding AI as a central business process, and a demonstration involving the Unitree G1 humanoid robot.

Organizers Birgit Edlinger and Kajetan Bergles emphasized the event's goal of providing practical, proven solutions for companies facing pressures in infrastructure and smart logistics. The gathering also served as a networking platform for industry innovation and smart supply chain development in the Styria region.
