ILS Main Event 2026 to move to Graz, Austria

The Independent Logistics Society (ILS) has announced that its ILS Main Event will move to Graz, Austria, for 2026, following 23 years in Leoben. Scheduled for October 14–15 at the Helmut List Halle, the event will operate under the theme ‘Digital Confirmation’ to explore how businesses can maintain operational capacity during uncertain times.

The conference will serve as a ‘living future laboratory,’ bringing together leaders from industry, science, politics, and research. Key discussion topics include the shortage of skilled labor, the importance of practical vocational training, and the strategic role of infrastructure, mobility, energy, and digital networks in economic resilience.

Specific thematic blocks will focus on Smart Logistics and Technology, examining autonomous industrial systems, as well as Sustainability and Circular Economy. Participants include representatives from various organizations such as Siemens, KNAPP, SSI Schäfer, and Montanuniversität Leoben, aiming to bridge the gap between future technological concepts and practical application.
