I’m Looking For Zombie anime set to premiere October 2026

The anime adaptation of the manga series ‘I’m Looking For Zombie’ (Zombie Sagashitemasu) is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 3, 2026. Produced by Studio Comet under the direction of Shinya Une, the series is based on the manga by Katsuwo, which was serialized in Comic Dengeki Daioh.

New promotional materials have revealed the musical themes for the series. The opening song, ‘Raki Raki’, will be performed by Surii, while the ending theme, ‘Soft Apocalypse’, will be performed by cadode.

The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a deadly disease has wiped out 90 percent of humanity, turning victims into zombies. Thirteen years after the ‘Red Day’ event, survivors live away from major cities. The plot follows Aki, who embarks on a dangerous journey with friends Haru and Natsuki to search for her missing father.
