IM Motors and Buick launch new electric vehicle models in China
Several new electric vehicle models have entered the Chinese market, focusing on high-voltage architectures and advanced chassis technology.
IM Motors has launched pre-sales for the new generation IM L6, with prices starting at 219,900 yuan. The L6 distinguishes itself by offering a full steer-by-wire chassis, which includes steer-by-wire technology, 18-degree rear-wheel steering, and Continental MKC2 steer-by-wire braking. The vehicle utilizes an 800V high-voltage platform, enabling rapid charging, and offers various battery options from CATL, with range capabilities up to 850km depending on the trim.
Simultaneously, Buick has officially released the electric version of the L7, with prices starting from 169,900 yuan after applying available subsidies. The Buick L7 features an 800V high-voltage architecture and 6C ultra-fast charging technology, capable of adding 450km of range in 10 minutes. It is equipped with CATL batteries and provides a driving range of 702km.
