IM Motors announces collaboration with Jimmy Choo for limited edition EV

IM Motors has announced a collaboration with luxury footwear designer Jimmy Choo to launch a limited edition electric vehicle model in China. The IM L6 x Prof. Jimmy Choo Bespoke Limited Edition features several high-end design elements, including a bespoke blue interior inspired by the blue satin shoes Jimmy Choo designed for Princess Diana.

Additional features of the special edition include crystal-inspired exterior and interior detailing, crystal-look camera covers, and bespoke blue brake calipers. The vehicle also incorporates Jimmy Choo exterior badging, inscriptions on the door sills, and custom lettering on the dashboard and seat headrests.

While the limited edition model is intended for the Chinese market, the base vehicle is available in Australia as the IM5. MG Motor Australia’s marketing director, Dimitri Adreatidis, noted that while there are no current plans to bring this specific bespoke edition to Australia, the collaboration reflects the brand's focus on matching technology and performance with individuality and design.
