IM Motors partners with Jimmy Choo for L6 electric sedan

Chinese automotive brand IM Motors has announced a luxury collaboration with designer Jimmy Choo for a special edition of its L6 electric sedan. The limited-edition Prof Jimmy Choo model features bespoke design elements, including crystal-look trim on the fender camera covers and a faceted crystal badge.

The interior includes ‘Haute Couture Blue’ pearlescent leather and blue brake calipers, a color scheme inspired by the blue silk satin heels worn by Diana, Princess of Wales. The first batch of this special edition is capped at 1,000 units and is available exclusively in the Chinese market. Some customers may also receive bespoke shoes as part of the package.

Alongside the designer edition, the L6 range has received technical updates. New battery options include a 76kWh LFP battery for the base Max variant, a 93kWh LFP battery for the Pro Max, and a 103kWh ternary lithium battery for the all-wheel drive Ultra model. These updates aim to provide varying driving ranges, with the top-tier model offering a claimed 840km range.
