South Korean golfer Im Seong-jae finished tied for 15th place at the PGA Tour Rocket Classic in Detroit, posting a final‑round 67 (3‑under) and a total of 11‑under 269. The performance moved him up two spots from a shared 23rd place the previous day.

His FedEx Cup ranking improved by one position to 57, securing a spot in the first round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship playoff but leaving his chances of qualifying for the season‑ending Tour Championship – which requires a top‑30 finish – uncertain. Im Seong-jae has competed in the Tour Championship for eight consecutive years, but this season he must achieve a higher ranking to retain that streak.

American Michael Torbyonson won the tournament with a 63 in the final round and a total of 18‑under 262, earning his first PGA Tour victory.
