Imada Mio debuts as doctor in Japanese drama “Crossroad”

Actress Imada Mio made her first appearance as a physician in the medical drama “Crossroad ~Promise of Emergency Medicine~”, which began airing on TV Asahi on 7 July. In the opening episode she rushes from a wedding in a party dress to a traffic‑accident scene, performs emergency airway management and faces a challenging surgery.

To promote the series Imada appeared on several variety shows, including a food‑tour segment on the Boso Peninsula where she guessed top‑selling menu items and sampled local specialties, and a fashion‑focused interview showcasing a fitted white T‑shirt and black pleated trousers. Fans praised both her performance and her on‑screen style.
