Imagem Films expands into Colombian film market

Brazilian distributor Imagem Films has announced its official entry into the Colombian market as part of a broader Latin American expansion strategy. The company held a meeting in Bogotá with major national exhibitors, including Cine Colombia, Royal Films, Cinemark, Procinal, Cinépolis, Cineprox, and Cineland, to present its catalog and explore collaboration opportunities.

As part of its launch, the distributor has scheduled two major premieres for October 2026. The first is 'HOPE: El Primer Impacto', a science fiction and suspense film directed by South Korean filmmaker Na Hong-jin, featuring an international cast including Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander. The second is 'Wildwood', an animated production from the American studio LAIKA.
