Iman Shumpert shares back-to-school photos with Teyana Taylor and daughters

Former NBA player Iman Shumpert shared photos on Instagram celebrating the first day of school for his daughters, Iman ‘Junie’ Tayla Shumpert Jr. and Rue Rose Shumpert. The images feature the children alongside their mother, Teyana Taylor.

Taylor and Shumpert finalized their divorce in 2024 following a contentious split. In recent interviews, Taylor has discussed the challenges of maintaining a peaceful co-parenting dynamic, noting that she uses the TalkingParents app to communicate about their children and avoid unnecessary conflict. She expressed a desire for a healthier relationship while emphasizing her commitment to including Shumpert in family milestones.

Taylor has frequently highlighted the importance of her daughters, recently dedicating her Icon of the Year award at the 2026 BET Awards to them. She also noted that her daughters serve as her ‘biggest fashion critics’ regarding her personal style.
