Imathia Chamber signs cooperation memorandum with LuLu Retail

The Imathia Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with LuLu Retail Holdings PLC during the 4th Greece–UAE Strategic Business Forum held in Athens. The agreement was signed by Sotirios Skourtopoulos, President of the Imathia Chamber, and M. A. Yusuff Ali, founder and President of LuLu Group.

The memorandum aims to establish commercial partnerships and provide businesses from the Imathia region with direct access to markets in the Persian Gulf. The signing took place in the presence of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The forum served as a platform for significant economic activity, announcing 18 memoranda and partnerships with a total mentioned value exceeding 12.75 billion euros. These agreements span strategic sectors including energy, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, industry, health, and trade.
