Imbramowice to host Halloween event with new Trunk or Treat format

The village of Imbramowice is preparing for its annual Halloween celebration on October 31, 2026. The event, which was initiated several years ago by the Polish-American couple Izabela and Allen Rust, has grown significantly in popularity each year.

This year’s festivities will introduce the American-style ‘Trunk or Treat’ format. Participants are encouraged to decorate the trunks of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, or scooters, from which they will distribute sweets. Organizers noted that this new format is intended to enhance safety by allowing children to collect candy in a centralized location with their parents.

The program also includes the traditional ‘Zombie Walk’ parade through the village and various family-oriented activities. Organizers emphasize that the event is intended for community integration and entertainment rather than religious observance, comparing the costume aspect to a carnival or masquerade ball.
