Šime Vrsaljko marries Slovenian designer Kaja Vidmar

Former Croatian national football team player Šime Vrsaljko has married Slovenian designer and entrepreneur Kaja Vidmar. The wedding ceremony and celebration took place at Kraljevski Vinogradi, located on a hill above Petrčane, overlooking the Zadar archipelago.

The couple, who have two children together, sought to keep the details of their wedding private. However, some glimpses were shared on social media, including details of Vidmar’s elegant wedding attire and the scenic location. One notable highlight of the celebration was a unique wedding gift from Vrsaljko’s former teammate and close friend, Danijel Subašić, who gifted him a donkey.

Vrsaljko, 34, previously married in 2017 and has a son from that marriage. He retired from professional football in 2023 after a career that included playing for clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb, Atlético Madrid, and Olympiacos, and earning 52 caps for the Croatian national team.
