Imelda Castro meets with Morena coordinators in Culiacán

Imelda Castro, the state coordinator for the Defense of Transformation and National Sovereignty, met with Morena party operational coordinators in Culiacán and Los Mochis. During the meeting, Castro emphasized her commitment to working closely with local party structures to promote the achievements of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo’s second report and to advocate for federal budget allocations for Sinaloa in 2027.

Castro, a senator on leave, stated that her political motivation stems from a long-standing identification with social struggles dating back to her youth. She announced plans to visit all 20 municipal councils of Morena in the coming months, beginning with Badiraguato on September 25.
