Immersive Halloween festivals and theatrical events announced

Various immersive Halloween-themed events and festivals have been announced for the upcoming season.

Maan Farms is hosting its second annual Halloween Fright Festival from October 2 through October 31. The event features four distinct attractions, including ‘Badlands,’ a no-contact immersive experience involving extreme weather simulations such as intense heat, cold, and wind. Other attractions include the Slaughterhouse corn maze, the Frightfully Fun Forest, ‘The Way Down,’ a dark sensory experience, and ‘3D CarnEvil,’ a neon-themed attraction utilizing 3D glasses and ultraviolet effects.

In Anaheim, Unbound Productions has unveiled ‘Wicked Lit 2026: La Llorona and The Headless Horseman.’ Scheduled for October 29 to November 2, 2026, at the Chance Theater, the festival will present one-act adaptations of ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ and an original work based on the ‘La Llorona’ legend. The event will include an artisan fair, a themed museum, and interactive photo experiences.
