Immigrant festivals in Argentina prepare for upcoming regional celebrations

Various immigrant festivals in Argentina are preparing for upcoming editions to celebrate regional cultural identities.

In Berisso, the 49th Provincial Immigrant Festival is scheduled for September and October. Organized by the Association of Foreign Entities of Berisso, the event will feature cultural, gastronomic, and religious activities, including the ‘Posta del Inmigrante’, the ‘Desembarco de los Inmigrantes’, and various community festivals at Parque Cívico.

Meanwhile, representatives from Oberá are promoting the 46th National Immigrant Festival, which will take place from September 3 to 13 at the Parque de las Naciones. To strengthen regional ties, promotional launches were held in Hohenau, Paraguay, and in the Brazilian cities of Santa Rosa and Ijuí. These visits aimed to bolster cultural and touristic links between Argentina and its neighboring countries.
