Immigration officials raid illegal online lending hub in Bali

Immigration officials from Ngurah Rai raided a villa in Dalung, North Kuta, Badung, Bali, on Thursday, October 22, uncovering an illegal online lending operation. The raid resulted in the detention of 17 foreign nationals, including 15 Malaysian citizens and two Singaporean citizens, for residency permit violations.

During the operation, some suspects attempted to escape by jumping over a rear wall but were intercepted by officers. Authorities discovered three rooms on the second floor of the villa converted into operational headquarters. Seized evidence includes computer sets, USB flash drives, a safe, dozens of mobile phones, and cash.
