Immigration policy could reduce Social Security benefits by $2,000 annually

A report titled ‘Economic Impacts of Trump Administration Immigration Policy’ suggests that anti-immigration campaigns could lead to an average annual reduction of $2,152 in Social Security benefits for elderly Americans by 2034. The study, commissioned by America's Voice and conducted by Economic Insights and Research Consulting, links these projected losses to the economic fallout from mass deportation efforts.

The report indicates that the exodus of approximately 1.2 million foreign-born workers over the last two years has contributed to rising food prices and a decrease in housing permits. Researchers noted that these policies impact the job market and affordability, particularly in industries and regions that rely heavily on foreign-born labor, such as the agricultural sector.
