Immigration raid at New York factory documented in body camera footage

Body camera footage from a September 2025 immigration raid at the Nutrition Bar Confectioners plant in Cato, New York, has been released as part of a lawsuit accusing federal authorities of overstepping search warrants.

During the operation, federal officers from multiple agencies arrested 57 individuals and conducted a sweep of the snack-food factory. The footage shows officers searching offices, warehouses, and production lines, as well as attempting to locate individuals in hiding. The raid included instances where male officers entered locked bathrooms containing female employees.

Investigators stated they were examining the facility's hiring practices and potential use of fraudulent documents. The lawsuit follows the analysis of the video, which captures the process of separating employees into groups of U.S. citizens and potential noncitizens.
