Imoco Volley loses to Bergamo in Pordenone tournament semifinal

Imoco Volley lost to Volley Bergamo in a five-set tie-break during the semifinals of the second Trofeo Città di Pordenone. The match at PalaCrisafulli ended with a score of 26-24, 12-25, 25-23, 17-25, and 14-16 in favor of Bergamo.

Led by vice-coach Maurizio Mora, who is filling in for Daniele Santarelli, Imoco Volley utilized a rotation that included players such as Yao Di, Gordon, Sillah, Piovesan, Folie, and Manfredini. Key players Joanna Wolosz, Adelina Ungureanu Enescu, and Zhu Ting were rested for the match. Despite a strong first-set comeback led by Manfredini, Bergamo maintained control through strong serving and offensive play.

Imoco Volley is scheduled to play Panathinaikos in the third-place match on Sunday, September 13, at 15:30. The preseason tournament is organized by the club in collaboration with the municipality of Pordenone.
