San Cassiano festivals held in San Casciano and Imola

Various Italian communities are holding celebrations for their patron saints. In San Casciano, the feast of San Cassiano was marked by a solemn Mass led by Father Marco Fagotti, who also celebrated 25 years of priesthood. The event included a traditional procession through the town center featuring the saint's statue and relics, attended by local clergy and authorities.

In Imola, the festivities for San Cassiano spanned several days, featuring a diverse program of religious and cultural activities. Highlights included a concert by the Filarmonica ‘Città di Imola’, a ‘Pedalata per la pace’ (bike ride for peace) from the cathedral to Piazza Matteotti, and the ‘Grande Gioco dei Santi e dei Santini’, a cultural game designed to teach participants about the region's religious and artistic heritage.
