Imola hospital emergency department undergoes renovation

The Santa Maria della Scaletta hospital in Imola has completed renovations to its emergency department, focusing on improving triage functionality, patient privacy, and staff security.

Mayor Marco Panieri, Health Councilor Alba Natali, and Ausl Director General Agostina Aimola visited the updated facilities to meet with medical and nursing staff. The redesign specifically addresses the triage area, which is critical for prioritizing patients based on clinical severity.

The upgrades aim to mitigate tensions and enhance safety for frontline workers, following previous incidents of aggression against healthcare staff in high-pressure emergency environments.
