Imola promotes industrial excellence at Singapore Grand Prix

Imola Mayor Marco Panieri traveled to Singapore during the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend to participate in institutional meetings and promote local industrial excellence. A key focus of the visit was the ‘Formula Italia: Genius Beyond the Track’ event, organized in collaboration with Vogue Singapore and hosted at the Italian Embassy.

The event, opened by Italian Ambassador Dante Brandi, highlighted the technological contributions of Italian companies to the motorsport industry. Notable participants included representatives from Ferrari and Pirelli, as well as former professional driver and presenter Claire Jedrek.

During the mission, the role of Sacmi, a major cooperative based in Imola, was specifically emphasized. The company’s name is featured within the ‘Sala Italia’ spaces at the Embassy, serving as a symbol of the link between the Motor Valley’s industrial capacity and international prestige.
