Impact Startup Summit 2026 to be held in Tokyo

The Impact Startup Association (ISA) will host the ‘IMPACT STARTUP SUMMIT 2026’ on October 7, 2026, in Tokyo. The event, themed ‘Disruption for Good,’ aims to bring together startups, investors, large corporations, and government officials to discuss solving social issues through sustainable business growth.

Pre-registrations for the summit have exceeded 1,400 participants. The program includes 19 sessions and two pitch events, featuring prominent speakers such as former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Minister Minoru Shinjo. The summit will cover diverse topics including growth strategies, regional revitalization, finance, AI, and defense.

UNERI, an ecosystem venture capital firm, will participate alongside its portfolio companies. Representatives from SORA Technology, AgeWellJapan, and CareFran are scheduled to speak on topics such as global deep tech expansion, senior well-being, and business creation in the nursing care sector. Additionally, 31 impact startups will host exhibition booths to showcase their initiatives.
