WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff said on the 83 Weeks podcast that the promotion’s biggest challenge is the financial commitment required to run a television‑driven wrestling product, warning that the company may be “one step closer to the grave.” Wrestler Matt Hardy later downplayed speculation that WWE might buy the company, stating that TNA is in decent financial condition and that no sale is imminent.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Slammiversary 2026 PPV is being promoted as the first major event in two years without Dreamer’s creative involvement. Roster speculation includes possible departures of Mike Santana to WWE, Leon Slater to AEW, and ongoing concerns about the promotion’s ability to sustain its product amid the financial turmoil.
