Municipal infrastructure projects underway across various Brazilian cities
Several Brazilian municipalities are executing diverse infrastructure and urban improvement projects. In Aparecida de Goiânia, Mayor Leandro Vilela is overseeing paving works in the Rosa dos Ventos sector, which faced delays due to a change in the contracting company. The project also includes the development of the Serra Dourada 3 Ecological Park and the construction of the Independência Basic Health Unit.
In Campo Grande, the local government has launched the first phase of paving and drainage works in the Guanandi II neighborhood, an investment totaling approximately R$ 16.3 million across two stages. This initiative is part of a broader infrastructure plan involving over 200 streets.
Other regional developments include:
• Camaquã: The Secretary of Urban Infrastructure is prioritizing drainage network revisions to prevent flooding before proceeding with paving in the São Pedro and São Luís neighborhoods.
• Imperatriz: Federal Deputy Pedro Lucas secured resources for the renovation and modernization of the Bom Jesus Municipal Market, aiming to improve sanitary conditions and local economic activity.
• Teresópolis: Despite heavy rainfall exceeding 350 mm in October, municipal teams have continued maintenance and pothole repairs on over 138 streets.
