Imperia projects 3,890 new hires for September–November 2026

The Camera di Commercio Riviere di Liguria has released employment forecasts for the province of Imperia for the September–November 2026 period. Data from the Excelsior survey indicates that 3,890 new hires are projected during this quarter.

Of these projected entries, 80% are expected to be fixed-term contracts, while 20% will consist of stable positions such as permanent contracts or apprenticeships. The hiring is heavily concentrated in the services sector at 68%, followed by industry and construction at 24.6%, and the primary sector at 7.4%.

Approximately 79% of these hires will occur within companies employing fewer than 50 people. Regarding demographics, 33.4% of the new roles are expected to be filled by individuals under the age of 30, 16.4% by women, and 32.3% by foreign nationals. Additionally, 44.1% of businesses anticipate difficulties in finding suitable candidates due to a lack of applicants or inadequate preparation.
