Imperial Teen launches album All Over You with lead single Overdrive

San Francisco‑based indie rock band Imperial Teen released their seventh studio album, All Over You, on 9 October via Merge Records. The record arrives seven years after their previous album and is introduced by the lead single “Overdrive,” a hook‑laden track that nods to the Sex Pistols while retaining the band’s signature pop‑punk sound.

Band members Roddy Bottum (formerly of Faith No More), guitarist Will Schwartz, bassist/vocalist Jone Stebbins and drummer/vocalist Lynn Truell explained that the album was written during scattered writing retreats and recorded in multiple sessions. The group will open for The Breeders at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre before embarking on a headline tour across the United States, with dates in Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and more. Bottum also noted upcoming Faith No More shows, the band’s first in 11 years.
