Imperium AI CEO and filmmaker Shazir Mucklai has proposed a futuristic concept for a spiritual successor to the 2005 film ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’. Mucklai envisions a story that integrates modern technological themes, including artificial intelligence, advanced surveillance, autonomous technology, and digital identities into a next-generation espionage action-romance.

Mucklai suggested a reunion between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, noting that such a pairing would be an ‘incredible cultural moment’. However, he also proposed Zac Efron as a potential leading man to pair with Jolie, suggesting that Efron’s demographic appeal could better reinvent the concept for a new generation and maximize commercial potential. While a source close to the respective teams indicated a possibility of Efron and Jolie co-starring in a future project, no formal agreements have been reached.
