IMPI seizes 12,500 counterfeit products in Querétaro

The Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) seized approximately 12,559 counterfeit products during operations in Santiago de Querétaro. The seized merchandise, which included items infringing on intellectual property rights for brands such as Disney, Pixar, and Barbie, has an estimated value of 1.5 million pesos.

Authorities targeted several establishments, including China Land, Small China, La Casa del Panda, and Hogar China City. These enforcement actions were part of a broader, simultaneous strategy against piracy conducted in Querétaro, the State of Mexico, and Hidalgo, supported by the National Guard. Across these three entities, the total value of seized goods reached approximately 3 million pesos.
