Portuguese media group Impresa and telecom operator NOS post first‑half 2026 results

Impresa reported a net loss of €3.4 million for the first half of 2026, an improvement of 32.4 % over the same period a year earlier. Consolidated revenue rose 2.5 % to €88 million, driven by a 3.6 % increase in TV revenues, while EBITDA reached €4 million, up 37.8 %. The company’s net debt fell to €129.6 million, a reduction of 18.6 %, following the capital increase that brought the Italian MediaForEurope (MFE) group onto the share‑holding structure.

Telecom operator NOS posted a net profit of €128.1 million, up 13.7 % year‑on‑year, with consolidated revenue of €918.5 million, a 1.0 % increase. EBITDA grew 2.3 % to €409.3 million, and the firm added 229.2 k services, including 206.1 k mobile lines. Growth was led by its IT division, which saw revenue rise 13.4 % to €103.5 million, and its cinema‑and‑audiovisual segment, up 3.2 % to €50.5 million. Despite the profit surge, NOS shares fell 3.83 % in morning trading.
