Improved bus services planned for Fårup and Asferg villages

Nicolai Estrup, a member of the Randers Municipal Council and the Midtjylland Regional Council, has announced efforts to improve collective transport in the villages of Fårup, Asferg, and surrounding areas.

The initiative aims to introduce more bus routes and better stops to enhance daily life for residents. Estrup emphasized that improving public transit is essential for providing young people access to education and activities, helping citizens reach workplaces, and allowing elderly residents to maintain independence.

As a board member of Midttrafik, Estrup stated that the goal is to create a balance between urban and rural areas, ensuring that smaller communities receive the same opportunities as larger cities to maintain social cohesion and local attractiveness.
