Impulse Cinema and Fandango partner to boost European film co-production

Spanish independent studio Impulse Cinema and Italy’s Fandango have entered a strategic partnership to enhance co-production, financing, distribution, and global sales for Spanish and Italian films. The agreement was announced at the Venice Production Bridge during the Venice Film Festival.

Impulse Cinema, a Madrid-based studio led by Andrés Sánchez Pajares and Roberto Butragueño, operates across the entire film value chain. The company is supported by the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT) through the NextGenerationEU program, having secured €8 million in funding. Its infrastructure includes soundstages, visual effects services, and post-production facilities.

Fandango, founded by Domenico Procacci, is a prominent Italian indie production and distribution company with a portfolio of over 100 films. The collaboration aims to create new models for European independent cinema, helping ambitious projects reach broader international audiences by combining the strengths of both companies in production and global sales.
