IMSA announces updated 2027 racing schedules for Road America and Barber Motorsports Park

IMSA and Road America have announced updated scheduling for the 2027 Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix. The event, which features the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship six-hour race, will now take place from August 5-8, 2027. Officials stated the one-week delay from the original plan is intended to reduce overlap with other major summer events in Wisconsin.

Additionally, the 2027 VP Racing SportsCar Challenge schedule has been finalized. The championship will include a two-hour race at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama from April 2-4 and a two-hour round at Road America from August 13-15. The 2027 season will feature multiple-driver lineups across various classes, including a new Airbnb Bronze Cup for LMP3 Bronze drivers.
