Imserso announces 199,000 thermalism program spots for 2027

The Spanish Institute for Senior Services (Imserso) has announced the availability of 199,000 spots for its Thermalism Program, scheduled to run from February to December 2027. According to the Official State Gazette (BOE), the ten-day program includes full board accommodation in shared double rooms, basic thermal treatments prescribed and supervised by spa doctors, and organized animation activities.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the spas, although some locations may offer shuttle services on the start and end dates of the session. Prices for the program range between 322 and 477 euros, depending on the selected spa. This is a fixed price covering all included services.

Eligibility is restricted to specific groups within the Spanish Social Security system, including retirees, those with permanent disability, widowhood pensioners aged 55 or older, and other pensioners or unemployment benefit recipients aged 60 or older. Additionally, insured individuals or beneficiaries of the Social Security system aged 65 or older may participate.
