Imserso travel season 2026-2027 begins with high demand
The 2026-2027 Imserso travel season has officially commenced, offering a total of 879,213 places. With 4,602,255 accredited individuals seeking travel, the current supply provides approximately one place for every five applicants, creating high demand similar to securing tickets for a major concert.
While the initial preferential reservation periods have concluded, travelers can still secure spots through cancellations, which release places back into the system throughout the season. These available spots often sell within minutes, requiring frequent monitoring of official websites or authorized travel agencies.
Prices for the season remain consistent with the previous year due to a government contract extension. Base rates vary by destination: 10-day trips to the Peninsular coast start at 309.22 euros, while 10-day trips to the Canary Islands are 464.72 euros. Additional costs include a 100-euro supplement for high season travel (October, May, June in the Peninsula and Balearics; December, January, and February in the Canaries) and single room supplements ranging from 22 to 26 euros per night.
