IMSS Regional Hospital in Guadalupe reaches 14.56% construction progress

Construction of the Regional Hospital of High Specialty for the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Guadalupe, Zacatecas, has reached a physical progress of 14.56%. The project is considered one of the most significant medical infrastructure developments in the state, aimed at strengthening health services and increasing medical care capacity.

The facility is designed to include 42 medical specialties and a total of 387 beds, 206 of which will be for hospitalization. The project involves coordination between the federal government, led by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the state government under Governor David Monreal Ávila, and the municipal government of Guadalupe.

Local officials, including Mayor Pepe Saldívar and Municipal Syndic Analí Infante, noted that the project moved forward following the donation of the land by the municipal council. Coordination continues between the municipal government and the IMSS delegate in Zacatecas, Leopoldo Santillán Arreygue, to ensure the development of the infrastructure.
