IMSS workers protest across Mexico over wages and supplies

In Yucatán, medical and nursing staff are protesting to be reinstated to their home state hospitals following their relocation to Quintana Roo and Campeche during the COVID-19 pandemic. Protesters have called upon Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena to fulfill promises regarding their return to the local health system.
In Ciudad Juárez, workers are organizing further demonstrations for late September and early October to address wage concerns and alleged threats regarding the loss of union rights. Additionally, reports indicate that subcontracted nurseries under the IMSS are facing potential closures due to funding shortages.
