IMVISU launches construction material savings program in Nuevo Laredo

The Municipal Institute of Housing and Urban Land (IMVISU) in Nuevo Laredo has introduced the 'Tanda de Materiales de Construcción' program to assist families with home construction, expansion, or improvements.

The program operates on a gradual savings model where participants make incremental contributions that are later returned to them in the form of construction materials. To ensure efficient project planning, IMVISU provides technical advisory services from construction professionals to help residents calculate material quantities, estimate costs, and determine technical specifications.

Additionally, the program offers free assistance in processing construction permits through the Secretariat of Public Works. While the program covers materials and technical guidance, the cost of labor remains the responsibility of the beneficiaries.
