In Control: Rocketry announced for PC release in 2027
Maximum Entertainment has announced In Control: Rocketry, a spaceflight simulator developed by Electromechanical Softworks, scheduled for release on PC via Steam in 2027.
The game focuses on the construction and technical management of spacecraft. Players design rockets using components such as thrusters, fuel tanks, and capsules, where the mass and distribution of parts influence flight behavior. A core mechanic involves building and wiring custom control panels by connecting sensors, inputs, and outputs to manage the vessel's flight path.
Once launched, players pilot the craft using orbital mechanics to navigate an Earth-like planet, its moon, and other celestial bodies. Gameplay includes both manned and unmanned missions, with manned flights requiring the management of life support systems. Progression allows players to unlock new parts and destinations, while a Sandbox Mode is available for experimentation and resource mining from asteroids.
