In-Edit festival announces musical documentary lineup in Barcelona

The In-Edit International Musical Documentary Film Festival has announced its upcoming programming, featuring approximately 70 films that explore diverse musical genres including rock, country, punk, jazz, flamenco, and electronic music. The event is scheduled to take place from October 29 to November 8 at the Aribau cinemas in Barcelona.

Key highlights of the lineup include a documentary on the return of the British band Pulp, titled ‘Pulp: What Do You Do For an Encore?’, and ‘For the Love of Dolly’, a portrait of Dolly Parton’s dedicated fanbase. Other notable titles include ‘Broken English’, which examines the life of the late Marianne Faithfull, and ‘Bowie: The Final Act’.

The festival is also expanding its scope to include new formats such as music videos and documentary series through the In-Edit Lab, aiming to support audiovisual musical projects on television and streaming platforms.
