In Flames frontman Anders Fridén updates fans on upcoming 15th album

In Flames frontman Anders Fridén has provided an update on the band's upcoming fifteenth studio album, clarifying that while recording sessions in Los Angeles have concluded, the album has not yet been mixed.

Speaking at the Wacken Open Air festival, Fridén addressed rumors regarding the project's progress, stating, "We're still building, you know, building the LEGO. It's going well, though." He noted that the new record aims to be a synthesis of the band's entire history, intending to incorporate "everything that In Flames has ever been into one big album."

The production features producer Howard Benson and engineer Mike Plotnikoff. The upcoming release will also mark the first studio appearance for drummer Jon Rice, who joined the group following the departure of Tanner Wayne.

No official release date has been announced for the successor to 2023's "Foregone."
