In This Moment to release ninth studio album ‘Witch’

Metalcore band In This Moment is set to release their ninth studio album, titled ‘Witch’, on August 28, 2026. The upcoming LP marks the band's debut with Better Noise Music.

Co-founder and guitarist Chris Howorth described the production process as a significant journey. The band initially recorded 12 songs with producer Kane Churko, aiming for an experimental and heavy sound. However, after reviewing the material, the band and their label decided to expand the project. This led to the creation of three additional songs and the re-working of existing tracks to find a better balance.

Due to producer availability, the new material was recorded with Drew Fulk, which Howorth noted added a unique energy to the mix. The album is expected to feature a variety of styles, ranging from heavy, industrial-influenced tracks like ‘Crawl’ and ‘Heretic’ to more melodic songs. The single ‘I Want To Believe’ is slated for release, featuring vocalist Rory Rodriguez.

Reviewers describe the album as a collaborative and ritualistic work, exploring themes of transformation, pain, and power. The tracklist includes ‘Shame’, ‘Sleeping With The Enemy’, and a collaboration with Kim Dracula on ‘Heretic’.
