Ina City proposes budget for first administrative house demolition

Ina City has proposed a supplementary budget for its general account, adding 258.3 million yen. A significant portion of this includes 33 million yen for the city’s first-ever administrative execution to demolish a dangerous three-story vacant house in Takato-cho. The city has previously issued guidance and recommendations to the property owner, but no improvements were made.

Other key allocations in the budget include 40 million yen for forest road repairs following heavy rains from typhoons in June, and an increase in subsidies for the reconstruction of the Ina Nursery School, bringing the total subsidy to 176.38 million yen. Additional funds are designated for school roof repairs, traffic safety facilities, and LED lighting for community centers.
