INACAP Rancagua draws over 1,000 students for open university week

INACAP's Rancagua campus hosted a week‑long "INACAP Abierto" event from July 20‑24, inviting more than 1,000 high‑school students from the O’Higgins region to tour facilities, attend workshops, and learn about academic programmes in areas such as mining, agro‑industry, automation, administration, technology, gastronomy and nursing. Vicerrector Ángelo Palazzi Lander highlighted the initiative’s role in helping youths make informed vocational choices and emphasized the institution’s commitment to expanding access to higher education across the region.

Meanwhile, the Instituto Superior de Comercio (Insuco) in Punta Arenas organized a series of outdoor educational trips, taking students to local sites like the Andean Club to experience regional natural, historic and cultural heritage. The activities aimed to link curriculum content with the surrounding environment, fostering collaborative learning and regional identity among participants.
