Inail launches workplace safety mobile station in Reggio Calabria
Inail has launched the seventh stage of its SI.IN.PRE.SA. project in Reggio Calabria. The mobile station, located on the lungomare near the Stazione Reggio Calabria Lido, aims to provide direct assistance, services, and tools to support health and safety in the workplace.
Over a two-day period, the initiative offers businesses, workers, and citizens access to specialist consultations, medico-legal examinations, training activities, and awareness campaigns regarding the prevention of occupational diseases and injuries. Inail Director General Marcello Fiori noted that since over 90% of Italian companies have fewer than 10 employees, it is vital to bridge the gap between institutions and these smaller entities to manage complex work environments effectively.
Separately, Giuseppe Ranuccio, Vice President of the Calabria Regional Council, visited the Advanced Medical Simulation Center (CeSiMA) in Taurianova. The center, part of the ASP of Reggio Calabria, has trained approximately 6,000 students in 2025 through various maritime and emergency medical courses. Ranuccio emphasized the need to protect and value this center as a regional excellence in healthcare training.
