Inaki Williams reaches milestone appearance for Athletic Bilbao

Inaki Williams has reached a significant milestone for Athletic Bilbao, making his 515th competitive appearance for the club. The achievement moves the forward into fifth place on the club’s all-time appearance list, surpassing former player Joseba Etxeberria. Williams marked the occasion by scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Elche in La Liga.

This milestone follows Williams' announcement on Friday that he is retiring from international football with the Ghana national team. After 28 appearances and two goals for the Black Stars, Williams stated that he felt the time had come to end his international journey, though he expressed that Ghana would always hold a special place in his heart. He intends to focus his full attention on his club career with Athletic Bilbao.
