In/Architettura Award to honor Sicilian architectural talent

The 2026 edition of the In/Architettura Award in Sicily is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 25, at the ZO Centro Culture Contemporanee in Catania. Since 1961, the award has aimed to discover and promote contemporary architectural talent across Italy by recognizing high-quality projects.

For the 2026 Sicilian regional awards, 96 works have been submitted. The ceremony is organized by In/Arch Sicilia, Ance Sicilia, and Ance Catania, with various architectural and landscape associations providing patronage. The awards include categories for designers, builders, and clients, as well as a Career Award to honor a living Italian professional for their lifelong contribution to architectural culture.

Additional recognitions include the Bruno Zevi Award for excellence in communicating contemporary architecture, awards for the best new constructions and redevelopment projects completed within the last five years, and a special FEDERBETON prize for projects that effectively utilize concrete.
